Course Overview:

​

Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 1 (ICND1) v3.0 is a five-day, instructor-led training course that teaches learners how to install, operate, configure, and verify basic IPv4 and IPv6 networks, including configuring a LAN switch, configuring a router, connecting to a WAN, and identifying basic security threats. This course will enable students to understand QoS, virtualization and cloud services, and network programmability related to WAN, access and core segments. It will provide the foundational understanding of network layers 1-3 that are applicable to core routing and switching plus other advanced technologies.

 

Pre-requisite(s):

Network+, or equivalent knowledge of IP

 

Audience:

 

This course is for individuals who are currently or desire to become a Cisco Network Administrator. For those desiring certification, the course maps to the Cisco CCENT certification or Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification. Job roles can include: entry-level network engineer, network administrator, network support technician, and help desk technician.
